It's a new day, Monday 02/16, whats new with you?

Hello my friends in CO........what's going on in your day today?  I plan on walking my usual 3 miles around the lake here later.  But, I have to get on top of this typing first so I can visit with my grandchildren in Indy at the end of March.  I have a friend that used to live in Denver that is coming for a visit in 2 weeks.  Oh yeah, there is laundry to do, oh well......
I must get to it. You all carry on, I'll check in later.

Hi Pat,
I live over here in Grand Junction and it is kinda cloudy and overcast. I am going to lunch with a dear girlfriend and then probably clean the house. I am working on getting everything set for surgery and this Thur. will be the last of my tests and its for the pulmonary. The doc is saying that I should be able to have surgery around the first of the month or so. I am so excited. Oh, I should mention too that my hubby is going to be going into surgery 2 weeks after me for the same, gastric bypass. So, hope you all have a wonderful day/week! Lisa

Oh Lisa!  That is such wonderful news!  I'm so excited for you and your hubby.  You are going to see such a change in your lives.  All the WOW moments that you will have, I hope you will share with us.  I wish you both success in your journeys and I hope to be able to welcome you both to the losers bench.  Have a great day with your girlfriend, I bet you all have a fun time.  I think you all might get that snow from CA, right?

Yeah, snow is what they're talking about for tomorrow. Ugh, we got spoiled with 60 degree temps and so this cold weather again is for the birds! Thank-you for the excitement. We sure are about the upcoming major changes to our lives. Its wonderful that there are some amazing docs out there that help fight the battle over the horrible disease of obesity. And I had a great time with my girlfriend thank-you. She weighs about 100 lbs and said she will gladly be my walking and work out buddy. So, now I have somebody to be accountable to which will really help! Anyway, hope you have a wonderful night!

I am the friend that is comming in 2 weeks. I cant wait to get there!!!!!!! I havent been to see all my friends in 14 months. and I think it is time I see Dr Tillquist also.
I also have a lot of business to take care of the week I am there haha. Like go to the cosmetology board and try to get my liscense again. It got stolen and I also have to change my address. Maybe Ill juse renew it then.
I was walking today and I told my husband that at this time in tow weeks Ill be just gettingoff the plane and trying to go and find my friend to pick me up. I told him if she wasnt on time I was just going to go and rent a car. He got mad!!!!!!!

HAHA, oh my Carla!  Don't ya think the poor guy might be upset that you are leaving and coming here for a bit?  Well, I wish he could come with you.  I can't wait to get together.  We'll have to take lots of pictures, enough to last until you come out to visit again.  You have a lot to do in just a week.
